The Worst Things About Wedding Games

Many girls play wedding games innocently enough. What they don’t often realize is that by playing wedding games on a regular basis, they might be actually damaging their relationships with their significant others. Playing wedding games means that you’re playing out a scenario in your mind. In your imagination, you’re creating a wedding dress for you. And that means you’re thinking about getting serious with your guy.

This might be okay if your guy is just as serious about you. But most boys are programmed with a flight mechanism when they think things are heating up beyond a comfortable level. They want to be with you, but they might have a hard time saying they want to be with you forever, especially if you’re young.

Enjoy playing wedding games, but do so with caution. As you play don’t give your groom a name or a face. He should be faceless so that he can be someone you’re seeing now or in the future. This way you won’t be as likely to run off your own guy accidently. You might also consider closing the game whenever your sweetie comes into the room.

Characteristics of Wedding Games

Wedding games are truly special because they embody romance and fun without going over the top. In fact, everyone can play wedding games – even if they aren’t getting married for a decade or got married a decade ago. There is just something fun about pulling together wedding looks for the bride and the bridesmaids. It might be stereotypically feminine, but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable.

Wedding games are creative. You can use a huge amount of creativity pulling together the perfect look for a wedding. Getting the various elements just right in wedding games requires creativity and detail work. Being able to focus on the details rather than just the big picture is the kind of creativity that will truly benefit you in the long-run.

Wedding games inspire you. Wedding games inspire you in ways that no other dress up game can. Every girl dreams about her wedding day and playing wedding games is the perfect way to make the dreams into at least a form of reality. Wedding Games and Your Mother

Many brides find themselves discussion wedding dresses with their mother and running into a bit of trouble. Picturing a gown you like for a wedding and buying the gown without your mother’s at least token approval can land you in serious hot water.

If you’re concerned about pleasing or at least getting your mother on board with the wedding planning, consider sitting down to play wedding games together. It’s likely your mother will not have seen the sorts of games you can play online for dress up games. This includes wedding games.

Use the doll base and the hundreds of dress and veil ideas to explain what you’re looking for and thinking about for the wedding. You can show your mother the exact style of dress you’re considering and the perfect accessories to match. If she has a style in mind, she can play along and create that style for you to either accept or reject. While you likely played the wedding dress games to give you mom ideas, you might be surprised at the styles she finds. Always stay open minded!

Playing Wedding Games with the Groom

It’s unlikely your groom will love wedding games as much as you do. Some grooms really get into the action of planning weddings and picking out the right kinds of colors and such. Others would prefer it all to happen on their behalf. How your groom reacts to wedding plans and wedding games is a combination of your style and his.

While you might prefer one style of clothing to another, what I truly mean if your style of planning and organizing. You might care a great deal about the colors in the floral arrangement while your groom could care less if flowers were even at the wedding at all. Rather than letting this lead to fights, allow the groom to attend only the most entertaining of the wedding events. Cake tasting is always popular with grooms, for example.

When it comes down to details, however, most likely, you’ll be dealing with this on your own or with the help of a good girlfriend or your mother. Don’t blame the groom for not being excited enough about centerpieces. He’s just showing up to this thing to get what matters most – you.

Wedding Games and Hairstyles

One of the things a bride must decide is how she wants to do her hair on the big day. Playing wedding games can help with this chore considerably. When you play wedding games, you start by selecting a doll. In some versions of the game, you then find the best wedding dress for the doll and call it a day. In other versions of wedding games, however, you get to design the full ensemble.

Seek out wedding games that allow you choose different hairstyles. You can change the look of a particular wedding gown completely by selecting a different hairstyle. Start with the sort of dress you’d like. Are you interested in a sleek, modern gown or perhaps more of a princess number with some ruffles and tulle?

Once you have a look in mind, and perhaps even the perfect dress, start looking at the available hairstyles. You’ll want a style that suits the dress and your current hair length. Making a dramatic hairstyle change for a single day might not be your best option unless you were really looking to get extensions or to cut off a long length of hair.

Wedding Games – Planning Elopements

In the era of cost savings, you can save a great deal on a wedding if you choose to elope rather than throw the lavish wedding you might have thought of previously. Of course, a traditional elopement means you’re running away together, but in these days and times, you can do your elopement anyway you like.

I like the idea of getting close friends and family together for a trip somewhere. Make it a simple trip or a really great package deal. Hopefully your family can all attend. Then, while you’re there, suddenly spring a wedding gown and tux on them and have a ceremony in a prearranged church.

Another option is to elope and then have a party with just your friends and family when you get home. Doing this is less expensive than the full wedding, but still lets those closest to you enjoy your special day as much as you are. You can easily prepare for a great elopement, especially finding the right kind of dress by playing wedding games online.

The Risks of Wedding Games

Wedding games are a bit risky. You might not think so since they are online and simply involve dressing up dolls in wedding dresses. After all, you’ve been dressing up Barbies in wedding dresses for years – how are wedding games any different? In fact, wedding games aren’t much different from your Barbie wedding games all those years ago, but when you start to play wedding games, things change.

When you pick up a Barbie at the age of five and put a wedding dress on, you’re dreaming of being a grown up some day and finding a handsome prince. When you’re fifteen and putting together wedding dresses, you’re feeling like a grown up and starting to look for a handsome prince. If you’re twenty-five and playing wedding games, you’re getting rather desperate for that prince to arrive at any minute.

Wedding games are risky for girls who are of the age to be actually seeking someone to settle down with. Playing with white dresses and such makes you think of marriage and thinking of marriage all the time makes it hard to settle down and just enjoy your youth and dates. Date for fun – not to find someone to compliment you in a big white gown.

Wedding Games Reign Supreme

It’s hard to find a game that’s not totally girly when you start talking about wedding games. After all, how can any girl resist the princess appeal of the wedding gown and twinkling accessories. Playing bride is something many girls do from the time they can walk and play, so it’s no surprise that the game moves online as the girls get older. Even adults enjoy wedding games – married, engaged or single. The marital status simply doesn’t matter when you’re playing wedding games.

What makes wedding games so superior to other forms of dress up games is that they envoke so many emotions in the girls playing them. Weddings are the stuff of dreams. As you play wedding games, you’ll be choosing a beautiful dress for your bride. At the same time you might be dreaming of your own wedding someday and picturing all of the various things you’d like to include in that special event.

Wedding games are also wonderful because they don’t have to be strictly brides. If you happen to love princess gowns, wedding games can give you a place to start planning your prom or other formal gown. Pick a gown in pink, blue or any other shade to see how that dress would look for something other than a wedding.
